So, I was a good girl and instead of putting my head in the sand, I got up early, has passport pics taken, bought folders, envelopes and stamps, wrote ten application letters, polished up my cv, actually posted it all (!!!!), bought a birthday present for my colleague, bought flowers for my colleague, picked dad up from the airport, tried to phone the place i applied to to tell them i really do want the job, but can't make it to the interview (it clashes with my final exam...), and helped my brothers clean the house.

Tomorrow I will revise for the exam, try to phone about the interview again, think of a way to celebrate my colleagues birthday with the kids on Monday...

And by Monday morning i will probably totally exhausted and call in sick! :P

So, this is going to be my random spam thread from now on.

Well, my dad returned from England today... and he bought me two absolutely stunning dresses (i saw a very pretty dress in the Sinday Times style magazine a couple of weeks ago. So dad decided to buy me that one and a second one that is quite similar).
It's ridiculous... I went shopping the other day, tried on about 5 billion dresses, and not a single one fit properly. And the dresses dad bought for me fit like they were custom made for me. And then are both absolutely stunning! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! *happy*

dad: the dresses are for my daughter.
shop assistant: no need to explain. we have another male customer who actually tries them on here, so don't worry.

ahhhhh, I'm in exceptinally bad mood today. Probably due to the fact that i really started revising and it is absuloutely no fun.
So Dan's mum suggested earlier we all go have icecream... and who ends up sitting at the table next to ours? My idiot ex boyfriend.
If I ever meet any of you and say 'hi' in a voice that implies i am pleasently surprised to see you, be sure it's a lie. If I really am pleasantly surprised, I either don't know what to say, or say something random and possibly stupid, or just grin like an idiot. But not ever would I do the above mentioned thing of saying hi in a wow, so pleased to meet you voice. :P
I think my ex kinda figured it out and understood it to mean 'what are you doing here? Go away, or even better, die!'

actually, i just did some *research* on the post office one... only to discover he moved away 4 years ago. :P So my mail probably always takes ages to get here because people at the post office are just slow in general :P


I feel totally exhausted. I'd love to pull a sickie tomorrow (and i'd totally deserve it... i went to work ill so many times over the past couple of months!)... but it's my colleague's birthday, and i have the present and flowers and bullshit here... so i feel like i have to go in tomorrow.

It doesn't matter he moved away 4 years ago - this is his Legacy. Seriously,. I'm telling you, if you go inside the office you'll see a big yellow note says "Vivi's mail to be held indefinitely."

Hey Vivi, in the future this job interview will not matter at all because it was not the job for you. There is something great around the corner. Trust fate, that and hard work have got you this far.

If they're not willing to be flexible based on what is a very reasonable request, I would definitely question whether they were the company for me! I'm certain you will find other opportunities - you've worked really hard for this! x

I agree with the others - if they're not flexible with something like this, it probably won't be a gift working for them later on. Fingers crossed you'll find something else love!!

so, i managed to work something out with them. It is far from ideal, but all i could get.

So,my plan for tomorrow:

10.00 - final exam
12.00 - job interview

Lolz, I SO won't make it to the itnerview in time... but i didn't tell them that, since it was either 12 o'clock or never :P
