Nice work, Susheel!

No hesitation for your delight
Before hurt, before love was questioned
And we believed in love at first sight

Seems like it's on again on 2nd Jan though (and I guess the iPlayer thing that I never use...)

Did Survivors become less depressing? I watched the first episode and decided it's best I don't continue.... :|

I never found it depressing, but it's not terribly dramatic either (though it got better for the end of the last episode.) I just don't really care about any of the characters that much.

On the plus side, the whole "what if you were the only one left?" premise is intriguing enough that it's hard to make a show along those lines that isn't at least slightly watchable. Which I guess is why so many other shows / films have used it before. But it's still not quite yet a cliche.

Please say the original 70s BBC version is much better. I haven't seen it, but I can easily believe it's true regardless.

Haha, I haven't seen the original either. Smiler I watched the first episode of te new one, and I do find the premise intriguing and actualy thought they did the firt episode rathe well... but it was too realistically depressing for me.

A shame about the characters, though - I was hoping it gets better as it moves on! haha. Although I did like the hedonist running around with the kid.

,...and thanks to youtube - Susheel, you have a lovely exasperated face! Smiler

I finally watched it last night; nice work by Susheel. Good episode too, although I'm not ashamed to admit that I watched it with subtitles as usual (I think I'd understand maybe only 75% of it otherwise...)

The whole thing is also on youtube, although I dunno if Susheel would want me to link directly to it here...

I think you should get rid of Matt Smith. I will accept you as the Doctor.
