I mean what is she supposed to be?



I don't understand the obsession with her. Apparently she is "the fashion industry's next great supermodel" and has been called an "ambassador of British youth culture." Now while I don't care much for supermodels, this woman is 2 months older than me so can hardly be decribed as a "youth" and if she is what "the kids" should look like then there is no hope. I place more hope in the emo kids.

She's not even pretty! Not an ounce of femininity. How is that attractive? Is that how the fashion houses play it now? Get the most androgynous person to parade in their creations therefor causing the offending outfit to actually look good???

Grrr.


The reason for this rant is that Gok was in the Diff the other week looking for the people of Britain who "have style" and did this catwalk thing with loads of people. Who did he pick as the person who he thought was the most cool and original? A girl who looked and dressed exactly like Agyness Deyn. Now, you know how much I adore Gok but I have to say he was gravely mistaken there.
