In case any fans on here are interested, Baby Lemonade will be touring the UK throughout October performing some of their own stuff but also a whole range of Love songs. It promises to be a real treat as the guys have said they will perform a huge set which will include around 20 Love songs from Forever Changes and other albums.
For anyone who hasn't seen Baby Lemonade they are quite brilliant, backing Arthur Lee on some of his most successful shows in the recent years before his death in 2006. They are doing this tour for the fans of Love's music and have said it will be of very little (if any) financial benefit to themselves, so the more people who turn up to the gigs the better.
Yeh, they're well worth seeing. I recommend you check out Forever Changes by Love. Voted 2nd best psychedelic album of all time by Q a couple of years back. It takes a couple of listens but it's album that seems to sound different with every listen.
They're playing the Fleece in Bristol on November 1st so come and say hi if you go!
I always thought there were quite a few Love fans on this board.
Just the Robin I think...I think the poster has already angered locals due to the fact that the venue is in Bilston rather than Wolverhampton, but what can you do... ...we'll have to compare notes after the gigs!
The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming.
Thanks for this, I will certainly be buying a couple of tickets. BTW, I thoroughly recommend Forever Changes-to those who've never had the pleasure. Top album of all time. ah such happy memories!
