I've only just seen it for the first time tonight.
I have to say it's quite incredible. It may have just bumped off American Beauty as my favourite film of all time. Opinions? Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up. |

Not seen it, what's it about?

Just download it/watch it/go see it.
You cant explain the beauty of the film. It's based on a Le Carre novel, has Ralph Fiennes in it. It's just a brilliant piece of film, the camerawork is amazing, the imagery is very hard hitting, and it has an extremely strong message. Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up. |

"A gorgeous, often gorgeously brutal film with great performances from a talented cast, a genuinely urgent and relevant subject and a director capable of astonishing artistry."

A good effort - I saw it last summer me thinks, when ever it was out here. The part about the evil drug company kind of hurt my head though. I have a low IQ, and couldn't comprehend the whole plot.

Oh sarcasm is a silly thing Evan hehe
OK so in some places it was a bit simplistic, but I thought overall it was brilliant bit of film. Even the use of filters, pretty obvious but very effective. When he's in the london garden remembering...ouch that one really hit me, I was sniffling away!! Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up. |

No no, I'm being serious. I remember leaving the theatre not fully aware of what I just saw. And the problem with remembering it is that I'm confusing it with the interpretor, both being set in Africa and stuff. But I do remember the nice locations and excellent acting, and their accurate portrayal of the UN. Good movie, for sure. Watch it, all of you. On a side note, I found a pith helmet today that I am now saving my money for. I am just a patsy The Oswald in Lee Harvey Made of my own misery The footprints of history |
