I heard a thousand guitars at the Springsteen concert two days ago. Definitely the gig of the year to me.

My top 5 of best gigs of 2007:

1. Bruce Springsteen (Antwerp - 12/12)
2. Bob Dylan (Brussels - 06/04)
3. Rolling Stones (London - 26/08)
4. Patti Smith (Brussels - 11/06)
5. Brian Wilson (Brussels - 20/06)

My Chemical Romance at O2 arena it was even one of the best gigs i'd ever been to. It was really epic and had flames and fireworks and loud bangs. It was so amazing. I was crying, screaming and singing the whole through. They everything in the preformance they played 'Desert Song' It was perfect. But if Frank and Bob was there it would have been double perfect.

I don't know their music but, strangely enough, I know who Bob and Frank are, though Big Grin

I was thinking about this the other day, in fact...

1. The Arcade Fire @ St. John's Church, London
2. Kula Shaker @ The Monto Water Rats, London
3. Patrick Wolf @ The Y Theatre, Leicester
4. Lightspeed Champion @ Birmingham Bar Academy*
5. Lupen Crook and the Murderbirds @ Birmingham Bar Academy

*this was particularly hilarious, as when everyone was baying for an encore, Dev (lead singer/guitarist) goes "um, we don't actually have any more songs..." Big Grin

The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming.

That would have to be Led Zeppelin at O2, London. Closely followed by PJ Harvey at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. Two concerts I haven't simply enjoyed but felt like one of the luckiest people on earth just to have been there.

That makes perfectly sense to me.

Hmmm well the number of non-KS gigs I went to has been minimal, but I'd probably say:

1. The Verve, Roundhouse
2. Kula Shaker, Water Rats
3. Prince, O2 Arena
4. Rufus Wainwright, Old Vic
5. The Bluetones, Shepherds Bush Empire

Pfft. I am still pissed off about that actually, but to be fair it was a really strange gig; how many other gigs does the main act come on half an hour after the doors open?

I'm glad you have faith in me - it almost wasn't possible due to the ticket prices (£77 each with fees!), but it was gifted to me as an early birthday present! I hope you manage to get a good deal on eBay though dude!

Neil Young tickets appear to have fallen through for us - sold out in Manchester. There's always eBay, I guess..

but the date is the day before me and my boyfriend fly to Dublin to catch Eels for my 18th Birthday!...

...Exodia, looks me and you have some cracking presents lined up! Big Grin
