Can someone please assist me? Everytime I try to private message someone on this forum, I get a message about not having sufficient permission to do so. Does that mean that private messaging is disable for all on this forum or is it just me having this problem? I tried contacting the forum Admin but never heard anything. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

No, it's everyone. The forum software supports it, but for whatever reason ordinary users haven't been given the level of permission to use it. I've tried contacting the admin before (not to mention moaning about it on here countless times ), but I think it's a lost cause, sadly. I can't believe that it's switched off for a reason (Can't think of any other forum that's done something that drastic), so either they don't care, or just don't know how to enable it, I guess.

Maybe he disabled it because of some issues that went on on the Jeevas forum - at least this way if people abuse each other via the forum it's all out in the open. Or if it's by email it's not the admin's problem.

That said, it is probably more likely nobody turned on the PMs feature, indeed.
