'Highway of Diamonds' by Julie Felix - should have been out by now, but hey, she's Mexican!!

She turns seventy in the summer and can still sing and play better than all your Kate Nashes etc. Ok, so maybe I'm on a high as I've just got back from seeing her for the second time in four months and intend going to see her again in May. If you like the music of Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, Leonard Cohen etc, you ought to check her out if you get the chance - she's on a pretty extensive tour of small venues and tickets will probably only cost you around a tenner.

REM!!!!!!!!!!! Going to see them in August in Cardiff and CAN'T wait, so excited (is this an appropriate moment to say 'squeeeeee'!!?)!!!!

Also Levellers (kind of lost touch with them, I used to follow them very closely, still think I've seen them live more times than any other band, Franz Ferdinand as someone else said - some good albums coming this year!!!

Supposedly either this April or May. And it might have that leaked song Fast Fuse on it, which was originally supposed to lead off a now botched EP.
