Was just watching the Kaiser Chiefs gig at the Electric Proms on TV, and was surprised to see Johnny Kalsi with the Dhol Foundation on one of the tracks. Odd combination I know, but it worked pretty well.
Someone else has already put the Kaisers / Dhol Foundation track on youtube: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sqJ3wI_5jOA Whole gig was great actually, they did quite a few things I didn't expect ("Ruby" featuring the Ukele Orchestra of Great Britain, Macca's "Jet" with David Arnold), and even managed to segue "Oh My God" with "Land of Hope and Glory", which was funny in a slightly disturbing way... "I have waited to be here Now I feel you, feel you near Take me home" |
