Ah, we had another storm during the night! Squee.
And university being one of the highest palces in Jerusalem no work today, double squee.

Less squee on the irregular bus timetable and the fact I actually need to leave Jerusalem today.

Doesn't everyone do that all the time? I know I do.

Here's a mini-giraffe you can discuss if you want :P

Giraffes! Giraffes!

*runs away screaming from thread*

:P

S'not my fault that yesterday evening this place was more deserted than, erm, a very deserted place at a very deserted time.

EDIT: mwahahaha, the 2 comments on the story. I just love random remarks. Like the apparent subculture that's developed in the website for the paper I read to comment completely random stuff at the weather report.

Heh they are good comments. The letters page of the printed Metro is usually entertaining also (I read it most mornings; if I ever post a link to Metro online it's usually cos I read it on the way into work and then looked for the same article in the online edition, as with the giraffe article. But I digress...) There was a letter today berating adverts that use the phrase "open till late" instead of the more correct "open 'til late". Which now I think about it happens an awful lot. Another thing to bug me!

LoL. I have to admit to have always been under the impression both options - together with "open til late" are acceptable!
Then again, I'm the last person you should consider when thinking of this...

talkbacks are more fun though cos people start commenting and discussing each others' posts instead of the article! Sometimes you get some really off-tangent insanities. Especvially when Israeli right wing extremists comment in a mainly left wing paper. Much more fun than actually reading the printed article! Big Grin

Hmm well when I read the letter I was convinced she'd hit upon something. But now your reply is making me question that, and whether there really is any difference in meaning between "until" and "till". I guess I'm just easily swayed Razzer
