Just a quick plug for my friends band, My Luminaries. I keep telling him he sounds a bit like Crispian but he won't hear of it lol!!

12th - GLASGOW, Barfly
13th - WIGAN, Club Nirvana
15th - CARDIFF, Barfly (supporting Kill The Young)
16th - BRISTOL, Fleece
18th - CAMBRIDGE, Soultree
17th - LONDON, Camden Barfly
20th - LONDON, Cargo (XFM's 'Dig The New Breed' night)

you can also get their debut single on limited vinyl release (only 100 copies pressed) here My Luminaries Single It's a split single shared with the band No.1 Son who I'm assured are very good.

Thanks for your time....I will talk about other stuff on here I promise but I just wanted to get the plug in cos these guys are great imo.

Haha, I'm in contact with MyLuminaries about playing my night, that's ace! My friend Laura knows one of the twins...I was supposed to review their last gig at Leamington Spa for BBC Coventry, but the drummer hurt himself...

I endorse this band, they're brilliant! Big Grin

The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming.

WOW!! Small world!! I know the lead singer's uncle which is how I got to know them.

It was a shame they had to cancel those gigs (Sam got a broken jaw) but he's apparently well enough now and so they are worth catching. Big Grin

(you know, you're the first person I've found outside the group of people I know who's even heard of them!!!)

Haha, it is pretty odd, although I am certain they're destined for great things! They're just so tight and polished, it's just brilliant.

I've e-mailed the singer [James, is it?] a few times, he seems like a really nice guy...I will have to try again to get them to Birmingham!
