is any body buying or recieveing anything special. i have spent a fortune on presents. but hopefully ive had a fortune spent on me. i know i have got a new acoustic already and the radiohead box set. if i dont get a terrys chocolait orange im gonna kick right off

My parents are (very kindly) buying me a nice compact digital camera, which will be very useful...I've just signed up to write/take photos for an online music magazine, so it'll be nice to have a camera which can cope with the low light conditions! To say thank-you, my brothers and I are sending my Mum to a spa (not forever), and getting Dad a nice selection of DVDs and books...my father is rather unworldly for the most part, so he's really hard to shop for!
Nothing too special really, but I've been listening carefully to things that people want all year, so I hope the gifts will hit the spot...  The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming. |

I got a pink laptop as an early christmas present.
Also, I'm getting a very very very pretty svarowski bracelet. I bought presents for 4 people this year. My parents, my brothers and Dan... and all in all i bought 23 presents. i tried to get everyone all they want and more _________________________ You know it will always just be me. |

I take that as a great compliment from you Erik! To answer both of your questions, the magazine is called Noize Makes Enemies - they added me on Facebook, and I asked if I could write for them! I just sent some of my stuff, and they were impressed enough to welcome me on board! They don't have many writers in the Birmingham/West Midlands area, so I think that probably helped too. I imagine I'll be doing it for free, but I'm getting a bit of money from my work with 4Talent anyway, as well as my actual writing job, so I'm perfectly happy to write in exchange for gig entry and suchlikes! Also, they seem to have the right sort of idea, they just seem to cover as much as they can lay their hands on, which is pretty awesome! The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming. |
