ahem blatant self promotion again

got my musical arse in gear again with yet another new band!
Any comments would be much appreciated, the recordings on their are live, so pretty pants as regards quality, were doing some "proper" recording in february!

I'm liking luscious giant lips. Sounds good. Only had time to skim through them at the mo but will have a proper listen after.

I take it the songs are in their early stages from the 'one mic in a room' style recordings? That is only where my band's up to at the mo. In 2008 i need to work hard at finishing recordings an stuff and get a proper demo

I always forget it takes a while to get a band off of the ground! well not if you are a control freak and do everything your own way(hmm that sounds like me) but in this case we are being very communistic as a band, with the result that it takes ages to sort song arrangements out!!

would be cool to hear any of your bands stuff if you have any on the net?

we are gonna do some proper recording soon, but we figure its better to focus on being tighter as a band before we start doing any more recording!

I haven't got any of my new band's stuff on my computer yet, it's all on tape. This is a band I used to be in though and there are three of the same members so it's kinda the same. We're probably gonna play a couple of these tracks too so you get the idea of what we sound like.

We are also going for a more communistic approach for the new stuff so that's why I call it a NEW band. It takes though time doesn't it?

Repent was the first track played & I love it!! Vocally, its very Jim Morrison'esk!
Luscious Giant Lips has a great riff. Vocally this time I'd say more sex pistols ( if thats alright?? )
I'd be well happy going to a gig & listening to this!!

had a listen to your 4 edits, its good stuff I was really impressed by the fact that the two guitars were quite distorted but still had a lot of definition(if you get what i mean)
I liked the fourth track the best, nice melody!

the slide playing on the second track was nice too! it sounds like you would be a really good live band, best of luck with all your musical adventures!

Cheers mate, i added you on myspace too. I think the drumming's the best thing about the 4th one to be honnest, it gets pretty mental at the end.
