Has anybody got a tattoo on their hip? Thinking of going for one with a mate (found some beautiful lotus flowers with an om!!!). Got one on my upper arm but just wondering if its more painful on your hip (yes, I know, complete wimp!) haha..

Not really, just watch out for the boney bits, that's the only place that stung a bit.

I always wanted to get a blue meanie on my shoulder, but I stopped to think what would happen if I ended up all senile, and in a nursing home with a blue meanie on my shoulder. So I chickened out. Big bit of me still wants to, but I am too scared. How sad is that?

You are so brave! I have to use needles to prepare my samples at work, and I feel faint just looking at them. I am such a coward. Sounds really nice! How long did it take to do?

My tattoos have been an expression of where I've been in my life at that particular time. I love them. Always forget about the one on my lower back, I get paranoid that people are looking at my bum lol
