My boyfriend adopted a giraffe at Dudley Zoo... ...his dream is to break it out and ride it down the High Street, so be forewarned...

I used to live in the Stourbridge area and visited Dudley often enough for shopping. I didn't think it was a bad place. I get nostalgic for those days, to be honest - I miss the places and the people (and the accents!) I'd much rather live in the Black Country than where I am now in Essex...

I do like quite a lot of the Black Country, but the Tipton/Dudley area really brings me down...and I fear for my life in the bus station. I had no idea that you were formerly a Midlander, there aren't many on here! I suppose I'm not a true one, but I do love where I am at the moment!
