Hi,everyone!

There is a thing I'd love to announce you that I'm organizing special event on my birthday next month.

It's a One-off "BRITPOP NIGHT" @Dublin Castle in London on 18th November.
Event Starts after the gig(11pmish) till 2:00am. After 10:30pm 3pounds to get in. It means if you're @Dublin Castle for drink before that time, it free to enter!

Of course,I'm going to play songs from many bands at Britpop scene such as...
menswe@r, marion, silver sun, bis, kula shaker, supernaturals, sleeper, gyres, cast, wannadies, the bluetones, the charlatans, dodgy, elastica, heavy stereo, kenickie, boo radleys, cardigans, lightning seeds, black grape, oasis, supergrass, urusei yatura, ocean colour scene, shed seven, northern uproar, shampoo, ash, manics, echobelly, suede, blur, pulp and many more!!!!!!!

I know you loved it, enjoyed it, danced with it as much as I did. And if you were too young for it,it's chance to know about Britpop scene.
Please pop in and just have a fun!!!!! Coming with band t-shirt should be dress cord? Big Grin
It would be a fantastic night!

See you there!

Just out of curiosity, how is it that you left Suede, Blur and Pulp until the end of that list?

Maybe she just likes the other bands better? Or maybe it was just trying to remember all the decent bands that were around back then. I notice Black Grape is there, but poor Happy Mondays never got a mention. Oh well, Mr Ryder can't have it all I suppose...

it's also good to leave some amazing/major bands of the decade till the end-makes you leave on a hmm excited note?...it's like finishing a speech with a really powerful 'rule of 3' or something...

It's on purpose Razzer Queen Jhansi got a point.
I though Suede, Blur and Pulp are too obvious to mention at first, just that's it!

On the whole, you seem to have put something rather wonderful together katie. I would so love to go, but I won't be able to, as I have prior arrangements. Oh well can't have everything can I?

You do know the Dublin Castle is in Camden, London, some distance away from Glasgow? You know how short your elastic is you'd never make it that far without several major panic attacks. Anyway if you're going to London for a club night you can at least come to Newcastle for Rabbitt. Wink

Yeah, and one of those lovely people (namely our Sarah), came up to Glasgow, and yet you still can't drag your sorry ass away from Glasgow for 1 night to go see the Baebes in Newcastle....Oh well, your loss. It will be great!

Glasgow does have good nightlife - and you can hear on the bootlegs how much noisier we were up there than the other gigs. And it was Pauli's favourite so there you go. Susheel should definitely come down for the Baebes gig though, I mean Newcastle's hardly south is it?

My mate has had several crappy experiences with the pound bus though. Seriously, you live in London, just fly or get the train up. Hell, I know I'd be suicidal if I was on a bus that long!

I know it's sometimes hellish,I don't like megabus.National coach is OK and I just got uesed to it Wink Train is slightly expensive for me and can't trust.

Well,I love Glasgow audience(the bast one!I think) so that why I sometimes come up to see my fave bands' gig there!
