I just noticed that the Haldern Pop Festival was added as a summer tour date on the Myspace page. Nice, finally a German date! But, there was no official announcement on here or Myspace at all and the Haldern is already sold out...
That means Kula can play a gig without their fans. Noone knew they'd come so no Kula fan has had the chance to get a ticket.
Pretty annoying.

K announced it on 15 May (I don't know if it was sold out then)..

But yeah maybe it should have been more prominent.

Is there no possibility of getting a ticket from ebay or something like that?

Gotta be worth asking, they're bound to have some at least a few places and maybe they won't be using them, if you're lucky. You beeing fanzine director extraordinaire n all Smiler say you wanna review the show Wink

ok, I didn't see that. And I'm on here pretty often. So I bet others who would have loved to come didn't see it as well.
Ebay tickets are way too expensive - there's an auction that ends in two days where one ticket is 100 Euros already. No way! Frowner
hmmm ask Kula about the guestlist! I'm curious what they'd say...

You should try at least. For a foriegn festival date maybe they won't even use all their places otherwise. And as I said you do have a special reason to want to be there.

Hey Raagy girl

I just read this at the site from Doornroosje, I think they cooperate on the Haldern festival

I know it is in Dutch, but I can read a bit of german so maybe you can read a bit Dutch Smiler
But it says something about a bank, Stadtsparkasse Emmerich Rees- each sub-office sells 150 tickets, 2 tickets p.p. on the 4th of july.

Maybe that will help you?

thanks for this, but to be honest... it doesn't make much sense to drive 700 kilometres to *maybe* get some tickets and then drive 700 kilometres again to the festival. Especially if you have a look at the current fuel costs...

Hi Raggy, how about phoning the post-office and asking them to post you tickets. Good luck, I hope you make it.

Nope - you gotta be there, it's only 150 tickets on a first come first serve basis... which means they'll probably queue up hours before the office opens.

A friend of mine will be there, but he doesn't appreciate Kula Shaker - he thinks they're boring mostly (a stance I *really* resent). Life's not fair, is it?

Nope. It's always the same... I wonder if there were any Kula fans at all.
But at least they'll broadcast bits on telly at the end of August.
