Anyone got any news? Has it's imminent release been sucked into the void that is Crispian time?

Wouldn't be the first time. Originally scheduled for release in 2004, lest we forget.

I've a feeling this may be about in the autumn. That way it would make a good distraction to break the silence in Kula's activity, as autun looks as though the main time for recording the album. I'll boot up the Tardis and check everything out tonight...

what is exactly that School Of Braja?
(i mean: if that's a school why is it a project to make a cd for that school?)

catch the sun find where it grows.
smell the rose, the sweet sweet rose
that grows on castle walls in heaven.
In heaven, yeah

In a nut shell, a school in California based on Hindu teachings.

Crispian's got family in L.A. and is a Krishna nut - add the fact that the school is self financing and that's why the album.

The most interesting bit of the whole thing is it's likely to feature a solo Crispian track, a KS track and a Jeevas track - and maybe a blend of all. Everyone's very excited - the phrase "epic Indian track" has been uttered by the man himself! (Could it be the lost Pi track "The Procession to Angkor Wot"?)

It says on 'The Legend' section of the official site that the epic indian track is called 'Radhe Jai Jai'. Can't remeber the second bit of the title, but it's on the 3rd page of 'The Legend'.

Will check it out. Is anyone else as excited as I am by this release?

The only thing wrong with the new KS stuff is the lack of indian influence - that's what makes them so great. But before anyone has a go - I LOVE the new stuff.

Can I just ask, any persons on here that own the School Of Braja album, where did you get your copy from? Did you purchase online or from a record store? Can you recommend the best and safest (if online) place to purchase a copy?

I realise that there is a link to buy this album on the main site but as I am suspicious when it comes to buying from sites I don't know I was wondering if there was anyone who could point me in any particular directions.

The site linked on the official KS site was fine for me, got my copy okay. There are (or were) a few other places that were selling it, and it occasionally turns up on ebay, but there's not many options of where to get it.

Here's where I got mine: http://bhaktistore.info/?page=index&action=products&do=detail&prod_id=234

It worked fine for me, and shipped fast.

I bought mine from the merchandise stall at the Brighton gig in 2006, although I guess that's of little help to you unless you're in posession of a time machine. Still, you did ask...

I did look there but it would mean they would have to ship overseas and there is nowhere on that site (not even if you fill in the order form) where they tell you how much the shipping cost is. It would be great to be able to get it for $12.99 but I don't want to wait to find out the shipping cost was something horrendous. Thanks anyway.

Yes I did so that's a fair point and unfortunately my TARDIS is not working at the moment. I did look at the merchandise stall at the Leicester gig but they weren't selling any CDs, just T-Shirts.
