From Uncut magazine, January 2008 edition.

I wonder if Alonza would be asked to go back and if so, would he want to go back?

Their debut was pretty poor really, i hope he doesnt go back to that and focus on KS.

Plus, Starkey is involved with Oasis and The Who, I don't see how he could be in three band at the same time.

I don't have much to say about this thread, other than to observe that it does what it says on the tin Razzer

"I have waited to be here
Now I feel you, feel you near
Take me home"

Alonza won't be back -- Johnny's got a new version of the Healers, which played the Manchester vs. Cancer show 2(?) years back. He'd started recording with those guys and was about to go into mixing when he got the call from Modest Mouse and put that on the backburner.

I'm looking forward to it... I thought 'Boomslang' had some phenomenal moments. It had some ones that weren't too amazing, but I still say it's really underrated.

No worries - I actually met Johnny (incredibly nice guy and easy to talk to) in November and asked him about it.

Now Kula has to return to America so I can meet the boys and die in peace.

Well i really like the first album though it didn"t get me the first time i heard it.But the songs are pretty catchy with Oasis-like melodies and Kula-like basslines. It"s not the greatest album ever made but it"s Johnny Marr so what can i say?..

With New Order dead, and FreeBass sounding rather lame, and Monaco not going anywhere soon, and The Other Two not doing much worth casually listening to, I was hoping that Electronic would be revived. Too bad, I guess??
