'By a Cowboy & an Indian'. Very interesting, something to keep a look out for. Thanks.

Kool. I think that would be the best one to remix off strangefolk. You'll have to upload it if you ever find it. Smiler Have you seen the rest of the ks cds on that site? There are quite a few rareties. I like that jap poster

Someone eBayed one a couple of weeks ago; I think we both missed it. Yeah, that credit made me curious too; it does make you wonder whether it's a new variation on "Shep and Dodge." Googling it doesn't show anything else by them, so it doesn't seem to be an established remix outfit.

My thoughts exactly regarding Shep & Dodge and yes, if you say one was listed on ebay, I did miss it. Damn!

Kula Shaker - Song of Love / Narayana ("Hands in the air" remix)

http://www.savefile.com/projects/808581661 (320kbps MP3, 12MB)

I'm only uploading this because of its promo-only availability. If it gets announced as an official b-side then I'll remove it. Or if asked to for any other reason, for that matter Smiler

Yeah, I think the treatment suits the song, which veered pretty close to a dance track even in the album version. The main change seems to be that Harry's keyboards are a lot less prominent. I wouldn't swap it for the original, but it's a worthwhile variant.

The mystery of whether or not "A cowboy & an Indian" is actually Crispian / Alonza is still unresolved though.

There's no sleeve as such, just a CD in a stickered plastic wallet. The sticker is spectacularly incompetent, in as much as it describes it as "Out on the highway (remix)" It's only from the CD itself that you can figure out the correct song title. But I'll scan the CD and what passes for a sleeve if you want. It'll be a day or two before I get a chance though (PC hassles currently...)

I kinda like it, not sure yet. Reminds me a bit of Monkey Mafia Pigs remix of Govinda, with a bit of Tattva Lucky 13 (which I adore) in there too.

Perhaps I'm just not too sure becuase Song of Love has now become my favourite song ever, over Great Hosannah!

Look for signs and portents...
