Does anyone know what the name of the song played before the band came on stage at Shepherds Bush recently? I can't rememeber for the life of me...thought it was the Polyphonic Spree but.......?

Well that's not much to go on, but it seems like 90% of the time when people ask about one of the pre-show songs it turns out to be "Les Fleur" by 4Hero feat, Carinna Andersson:
EDIT: It's been said on here a few times that Minnie Ripperton did the original. But her version dates from 1970, yet you can download from here a version recorded by Ramsey Lewis in 1968. Furthermore that link suggests that it was actually co-written by Aretha Franklin (don't know if she recorded it first though.)

does anyone know a song that was played a few songs before les fleurs, it sounded like some indian style remix of jumping jackflash by the rolling stones and it was bloody cool.

That's a great cover of Jumpin' Jack Flash! Listened on YouTube to some other stuff (Snow Flower, Raghupati) and found it really good too! Think I'm going to order the album that contains these songs.

Just a question regarding the Les Fleur song: on the album, there is just the 6 minutes version. Does anybody know how to get hold of the radio edit as featured on youtube? Thanks!

Oddly enough the 4hero album I have (Creating Patterns, with Japan bonus tracks) has the song as 4 minutes version... And since I'm a bit obsessed with the track too, I found there's a shorter version 3:34 or 3:39, which is a 9x9 (or 9 by 9) remix. Hope this helps with the search
(The 6 minute version is the best though, in my opinion )
