band were top form as usual and i was so pleased they gave us sound of drums in the encore. fantastic gig!
kula are one of those bands that need to be heard live! hope they enjoyed the gig as much as i did!

thanks to the band and crew (the sound tech is amazing every show), and of course dr joel for working the crowd at the start - the man is a legend!

peace xx

The show last night was incredible. I had so much fun and the band were on top form. What an incredible astmosphere too!

I've put a review, the setlist and some pics on my blog here: http://therealjenleft.blogspot.com/2008/02/live-review-photos-kula-shaker.html

Videos of KS here: http://therealjenleft.blogspot.com/2008/02/live-videos-...aker-birmingham.html

Videos and photos of Dr Joel here: http://therealjenleft.blogspot.com/2008/02/live-videos-...joel-birmingham.html

The review is going in the Birmingham Mail, so there's a little bit of free press for the band!

I did interview Crispian, but I've got uni work to do, so I'll type it up either later tonight or maybe on Tuesday afternoon. Whatever happens I will give you all a link so that you can take a peek too. It's going in GK, the Staffordshire University newspaper.

Don't forget to leave comments!

Nice review; I'm glad you got to interview Crispian; I look forward to reading the results Smiler

I take it from the Dr. Joel solo videos that Bham didn't get to see "Dr. Joel and The Companeros"?

Nope, Crispian said the stage was too small.
