Well, I think "Something Dangerous" and "Thirty-three Crows" are KS originals (or so I'm told...) Not quite sure about "I Ain't Got Nobody." Anyway in view of this here's the lyrics for "Something Dangerous":
I think that's more or less right, but feel free to correct me... I'll probably do the other two when I can be bothered, if no-one's told me that they're covers in the meantime. "I have waited to be here Now I feel you, feel you near Take me home" |

Sorry I'm confused here...what are these songs? Where did they come from?
Look for signs and portents... |

They're from the Dr Joel and the Companeros set, see the SBE thread for some videos, and the Bristol thread for an audio recording... I'm not so sure about these three songs now, since my source wasn't as authorative as I thought heh I think it's quite possible that they're KS originals though, more so in the case of "Something Dangerous" than the others, because the lyrics seem to fit Crispian's style more closely than the others. And if any of them are covers, then I've genuinely no idea who they're by. "I have waited to be here Now I feel you, feel you near Take me home" |

Ah that makes sense as to why I don't know them, due to technical problems they didn't do that in Exeter!
I was worried there was a kula song I didn't know! Look for signs and portents... |

Please nobody shoot me....but I really thought that 'Something Dangerous' track had a Simon and Garfunkel sound about it!! (I'm not suggesting it's a cover of there's but that's the first thing I thought as soon as I heard it!) What do you think?? I liked it anyway!
"Life is something that passes you by while your busy making other plans ". |

There's a bit in the verse that specifically reminds me of "I Am A Rock", actually. And other bits of it remind of a song by The Coral whose name escapes me now. But they're only passing similarities, having said that. "I have waited to be here Now I feel you, feel you near Take me home" |

Well, Dr Joel did say both times most songs are "never heard before" - and when they played Walking the Cow they did say it's a cover version.... so I would assume they're original Kula.
Also, I listened a bit more carefully to the "I Ain;t Got Nobody" lyrics, and I'm thinking it's an original Kula as well - the lyrics are just so Crispian! Gods have no one to pray to. |

Although they didn't announce "The Beatles" as a cover, so I'm not sure how much weight you can give to that (having said that, I guess that song might be considered a special case since 50% of the band who did write it were on stage at the time....) "I have waited to be here Now I feel you, feel you near Take me home" |
||||
|
That was my reasoning, too Gods have no one to pray to. |

Pfft well then you're guilty of not fully explaining your reasoning from the offset and thereby failing to achieve maximum clarity :P "I have waited to be here Now I feel you, feel you near Take me home" |

*sobs in the corner*
Gods have no one to pray to. |

These lyrics are very Crispian, so I'd be surprised if it's not an original. Hope the lyrics get a bit of an edit though!
