Fun! Frolicks! Posing! Unbelievably sexy women! In skimpy dresses! It can only mean......The Mediaeval Baebes.

Classical music with a distinctly modern folky twist. These are some sassy sisters for sure. It's certain to be a fabulous evening, you do not want to miss out. For a mere £15 you can enjoy a night with seven scrumptious sirens. They sing, they dance, they joke, not to mention the cavorting. It has to be seen to be believed. And for the stalkers among you (I know you're out there! Wink) there's the chance to perv at Alonza's wife. What more could you want I ask? And it's at Christmas. Now these girls are rather merry all year round, imagine what they're like at Christmas! To buy tickets for this (literally) once in a lifetime event go to Official Mediaeval Baebe site and buy your ticket for Newcastle Cathedral. Now.

Sarah, I think you should actually put the official picture on here, so that when the guys actually see it (without having to go to the bother of clicking on the link), they might be more seduced into going. Afterall, look what happend after Scott seen them!

I for one am very much looking forward to seeing these 7 lovely women. Don't forget to mention that due to personal committments and maternity leave etc, it is very unusual to get to see them all together.

Yeah my computer's too slow to put it on, it just won't work for me. Otherwise, yes a cracking idea. Maybe I'll try getting onto a university computer. Take advantage of their broadband.

Speaking of maternity leave etc. this gig will literally be one of the last times we will see them with the current line up for a while as lead singer Katharine Blake is having her first child in February, so yes, if you want to see one if this country's most impressive singers then get on down to Newcastle on December 7th with your ticket in hand. I know a few people on here are quite sceptical about the Baebes but you will not regret going to this gig. It will be a Christmas spectacular! They are all amazing singers, with a cracking drummer who used to be in a punk band, so you get the style they're going for - fun. It's not stuffy or boring or rigid. One of the girls, Marie used to write for Smack the Pony and she does hilarious comic introductions to the songs. Added to this the gorgeous music, the beautiful dresses and the sexy women wearing them and you have something for everyone. So get yourselves out there people, be a bit daring, a bit different and join us at the event of the season!

Man, you act like you are the main actor of the Trueman Show, Susheel! You know, you are not going to find that if you go south of Glasgow or Edinburgh that you have left the studio that is your life. Live a little!

Well said Mary! You're never gonna meet Rabbit if you don't leave Glasgow Susheel. Oh and she goes bra-less and when you stand next to her you can see down her top- is that enough reason to get the train down? My mate has a spare room......

Yeah, maybe if she was wearing a glittery black jumper he would be more inclined to say yes. I mean, you are even offering him accomodation! What a guy...

Susheel's a wimp, he's just too shy and nervous to meet the woman of his dreams. Wink

I've got the impression in the past that there aren't many northerners on this forum - pretty much just me and Chopper it seems, unless we're going to count the lovely Scottish people of which there are many. But it's worth travelling for, definitely. And Chopper, mate, you should come too, get a bit of a northern Kula Kollective together and show support for the missus. I'm sure your lovely fiancee would enjoy such a spectacular evening too. You cold treat her....bit of late night shopping, some beautiful Baebe music and then a nice restaurant. I could see you racking up brownie points by doing that for sure Big Grin

I think we need to get trading standards onto this lot. They're not medieval and there doesn't appear to be one babe amongst them.

£15 to see a set of mooses in posh frocks, almost as laughable as the kula shaker komik.

"Rise of the idiots."

Hey, you're allowed to be a miserable git but could you just piss off and do it elsewhere, where other people aren't? Wink

Fuck you and the cancer you rode in on.

...and while you're at it, take your head out of the Medieval Bints collective arses.
