Here's a 13 minute interview with the band on Japanese MTv recorded at the Fuji Rock festival in July. It makes for entertaining viewing, although there are cultural aspects to it that go completely over my head (maybe Mizuho could explain what the business is with the hosts doing animal impressions?) Even Simon gets a rare moment in the spotlight...

Format is xvid, 225MB in size.

As with the last Fuji Rock stuff I posted, m2 is the one to thank for going to the trouble to share this with the rest of us Smiler And there's more to come...

No problem, I'll burn it onto a CD or DVD or something for you. I wouldn't mind borrowing the C&I DVD you offered to lend me in the past, so it seems like a fair deal to me (assuming the offer is still open) Smiler

Thank you for your trouble, drykid. Smiler
Well, the hosts who doing animal impressions are comedy duo, called "Edo Murasaki", but I failed to see the humor in their comedy performance.

Heh I'm glad you said that. I was going to say originally that it looked distinctly unfunny, but I held back for fear that you might be their biggest fan or something Smiler

OK, here's the second half of the show - acoustic performances of "Shower Your Love" and The Beatles "Rain". I did this part seperately so that people who wanted the performance but not the interview didn't have to grab the whole thing. (The original show contained the MMG promo video between the interview and the songs, but I left that out since most people will already have seen it anyway.)

Here's the final Fujirock contribution - a great acoustic version of "Into The Deep" from something called British Music Lounge (and yes, I know the on-screen caption says "Govinda".) Crispian fluffs the lyrics a bit at the end, but it's still a really nice performance of the song.

As always, m2 is the one to thank for this gem.

Pointless trivia - Crispian appears to be wearing at the start the same kind of cardboard Crispian mask that some loon was wearing in the youtube video someone posted a few days ago. So maybe it was really him all along...

Yeah I noticed that, I did think it was weird. But then I wouldn't put anything past Crispian. Maybe there were just Crispian masks being given out at the festival? They do love the wee blonde one over in Japan.
