This is mostly directed at forumers who live in, or can get to London, but there is an exhibition in the British Library of 100 paintings based on the Ramayana, a Sanskrit epic. It's running for free until September 13th - I am both money and time poor, so I probably won't make it, but just in case you hadn't heard about it here is the link.
It looks like an excellent way to discover a little more about what inspires Kula Shaker, so I hope people can get there! The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming. |

Funnily enough I was at the British Library on Friday. I didn't get a chance to look at the exhibition itself, but they had a stage erected in the square outside with live Indian classical musicians playing. It sounded pretty impressive to me, although I was showing a friend around London at the time, and she was eager to move on to other places, so I didn't get a chance to listen properly. But if they're doing live music every day then I'd say it's worth going along just for that, personally.

Sounds interesting but I fear we won't be anywhere near London before October...
