...that the revenge of the king EP has crept back up to number 54 in the top 100 alternative albums after being absent for some time. I know this is a pointless topic but i thought it'd be worth pointing out. Oh well..

They seem to have had a fair bit of publicity since V Festival, good and bad. Of course, there were the usual snipes from the likes of NME, and sadly every bad review I've read seems to dwell too much on the 'swastika' comments of nearly ten years back, and not on the present, but still...

My sister, whose much more young, contemporary and fashionable than me, said that everyone seems to be raving about them at the moment, and there was a buzz about them around the internet. They got a couple of high profile mentions from the likes of Kasabian and Bloc Party. They were mentioned on the channel 4 highlights, if only briefly, and their music seems to have got a lot more attention this last week.

Surely all this can only be a ositive thing, and I'd like to think that despite the odd sniping comment, more good will come of this than bad.

Oh, and I even had a conversation with a 'Kula Shaker revival' fan in my local pub yesterday!

You load up the iTunes music store, and select the 'Alternative' genre on the top left of the home page, then you click on 'Top 100 Albums' on the right of the page and its there.
