just found this on ebay...
they don't print promos for just one song if it's not meant to be a single, do they?

I take it you missed this thread (and the accompanying mp3 Wink )

Yeah, usually promos are a good sign that a single is on the way, but that promo has been around for probably 6 months now. So if there ever was going to be a single release, then one can safely assume it's long been cancelled.

Oh yeah, and that's yet another ebay auction that calls it the "hands in the air" remix, even though the CD itself says "hands in the hair".

oops!
now as you say it i remember the thread. anyway, Song of Love would be a great choice for a single if they'd also promote it. I bet it would be a bigger success than the first two singles.

Maybe it's a better song than Second Sight or On The Highway, but was the quality of the songs really the reason those singles didn't see any success..?

What kind of a song would it take for Kula to overcome the prejudice that surrounds them in the UK? That's an interesting question.

Maybe something as catchy as Virgin Radio hits like this or this.. perhaps.. but maybe even not that.

It took me ages to get into that Primals song, although I really like it now. I still maintain that it's just "Fat-bottomed Girls" with different lyrics though :P

Realistically speaking, whether KS actually get a hit or not has nothing to do with the quality of the song IMO. I agree Song of Love can be a very successfull single - vry rocky, very upbeat and with the Indian thing that got them the attention to begin with... but I doubt it will happen.
