No, I don't get to go. Which is crap - as I have just been told by my boss that I am to go down to Brighton later this year to give a presentation! Why couldn't the bloody BPS have their meeting now? I could have been going to see them again!!!!

Sadly, don't live anywhere near Brighton! Please play Manchester again!! I don't suppose they'll be touring too much once this batch of summer gigs is out of the way? I imagine they'll be doing pre recording rehearsals, and then, at last, studio work!! I guess the next chance'll probably be a pre album tour between recording and mixing as a good warm up for promoting the delights that come out of the new sessions. Based on the fact that most bands seem to take 3/4 months recording, I guess they're hoping to be working September to Christmas time.
What's BPS?
And since Sugar Rush has been shown on Channel 4, Brighton University have received a record number of applications! Now there's some useless trivia about what influences the future of a student's education!

That would be the British Pharmacological Society. Trust me, it is not my idea of fun going and standing in front of a bunch of anally retentive scientists and give a presentation 3 days before Christmas - but hey, it is apparently (according to my boss), an integral part of my scientific development. What a crock. Not only do I not get to go see KS when they are playing down there, but I need to forgo some festivities to talk about science! There, I have had my ramble now Mr Baggins. Thankyou for listening.

Woooh, after missing them at Bristol earlier in the year it should be cool.
Warning though about the trains, last train Brighton to London is 11.37 weekdays apart from Friday when it's 11.02. Don't ask why, it seems a bit backward. Also the Old Market is down in Hove just off Brunswick Square, so it'll take a while to get back to the station.
My advice is... hit the clubs afterwards, then spend a couple of hours on the beach and get the first train back at about 6.
Sorted.
Anyhows I'm hoping they've not changed the codes for the Old Market backstage, I've played there 2 or 3 times, can't remember. It's a bit of an odd venue though. The main hall doesn't really have a stage and it doubles as a recording studio.
Not to worry, at least we will be seeing the Baebes in December (only 4 months to go). Then I am sure the our Kula blokes will be back up North before we know it.

It wouldn't be as bad, but I thought that the gig was in Stoke to begin with which is just up the road and then the promise of seeing the lovely lovely boys was snatched away from me
You think that's bad...I live about 20mins away from Hove but not sure that I can go due to prior annoying family thing that I am desperately trying to get out of!!!! Can't think about it too much..I may cry..
