Probably means "Melody Day"; there was a plan to give that away at gigs early in 2008, yeah? I think the source of the info was Teletext - thre's a thread about it on here somewhere - so it must've stemmed from a press release of some kind. (I realise a gig give-away and a single aren't exactly the same thing, but maybe someone got crossed lines somewhere.)

The wikipedia article needs tidying up again. I don't really see why someone has added a section of TV appearances with only four entries in it. I could try and update it, but an accurate list of TV shows would be as long as everything else on the page put together, and therefore not really appropriate. I guess it could be seperated out onto a subpage though.

Yeah, the tv appearances list is not appropriate for Wikipedia, judging by articles on countless other bands I've viewed. I doubt an extra page for them would be allowed, either.
