Please find below a link to the video for Second Sight taken from a promo DVD. Hopefully the link will be transferable by you to a dvd-r and watchable on your screen of choice.

The file is big, about 249mb, and took me over three hours to upload it so it may take a while to download depending on your pc's spec.

Thanks to drykid for his coaching and, as ever i'd be interested in any feedback, namely if it works!

Heh looks like you just fixed it anyways. That link looks fine to me now, but again I can't actaully check it till I get home. I'm confident that the file should download though now Smiler

Thanks, this is the definitive version quality-wise (well, at least until a BluRay version comes out, I guess heh.) There was some kind of odd issue with the vob file itself (when I opened it in various players it tended to report the wrong running time and stop playback after a few seconds) but I just ran it through VideoReDo's Quickstream Fix option and it plays perfectly now start-to-end. (If anyone wants that version uploading let me know.)

Thanks again!

Thanks, Zero! Smiler
But I was not able to see it properly as drykid mentioned, and for some reason it's not proper size. But it's a big file, so I kind of hesitate to ask drykid to upload a fixed version...I wish I could manage to fix it, hmm.
Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Oh don't worry; I'll just leave it uploading overnight. It's not like I ever shutdown my PC anyway heh

I'll put the link here tomorrow hopefully Smiler

I seem to have taken over this thread, apologies!

Anyways, here's the fixed version (247MB):

http://www.filefactory.com/file/958c47/

It's basically the same file that Zero generously uploaded, but then run through a program that fixes such things as bad timecodes etc. The actual video content itself should be identical to before, since it hasn't been re-encoded. It plays much more successfully for me now anyways.

Well your link works a treat, glad we got there in the end, and only 20 mins to download.

I have an anamorphic lens for my projector actually. It's kind of fun to hold it up to your face and see how weird everyday things look through it.

Is teh file any differnet from the video on the Second Sigth single? Sorry, not quite sure what "anamorphic" is.

(yes yes I know. Online dictionaries. I also know enough greek to figure out what it;s supposed to mean. Still, in this context? :P)
