I am in no position to comment on your theory James, but whether it is true or not, including it in this debate was out of line. I certainly query that you could do no other! You and Sarah have means of communicating outside of the forum, and if you did consider her a net-friend, then you owed her the chance to answer to your theory before you made it public. Anyway, I do agree that no more should be said on it.

I think naked eating calls for something better than crisps. Something stickier maybe?

Anyway I've spoken to James' source (tis like John Le Carre) and he's misinterpreted/not been given the full picture. Next time come to me first James before you talk rubbish about me.

What, so she could have denied it to me away from here just like she did on here, am I supposed to have found that more convincing? That would have lead me not to post what I posted? You'll note I haven't retracted what I said.

The insistent 'it's not personal... it's objective... it's not personal... it's objective' just got to me I guess, as far as I can see ever since she signed up to the Jeevas forum, day 1, it's been personal. And with respect to your personal connections Sarah also it's not as if we haven't been here before, I was admonished for sharing something I was told (not that I was told it was in confidence) on here through the same connections, - if a confidence is that close and important why even break it, why run the risk. Yet it happened again - once careless, twice, what the hell is going on, don't try and blame someone else. On that occasion too I was told that I was never told such-and-such when I actually was, partly the reason I have no interest in how the information in this case is revised in retrospect.

If anyone falls out with me over this; it wasn't worth it in the first place, so don't sweat it.

No, so that, denying or not, and you accepting it or not, this would not be used to win a public arguement here which, frankly, has nothing to do with it whatsoever. Some stuff should stay off the forum, and I think the decision which is one of common sense, not one going together with "and don't tell anyone anything".

For the record, I stand by what I said to you. I also know exactly when I did not go into details and kept them fuzzy and what parts I left out completely. That there's a gap between what I know I said to you and what I read on the forum last night right before I went to sleep I can't deny, but I can take responsibility for my own fuck ups, it is probably my fault. I should have kept my mouth shut in the first place. It's jsut that when the topic came up in a conversation I didn't shut up completely or lie out of trust. I hope it was not misplaced.

It's just that I've been on the other side of things when stuff that was said in private was dug up later in public in order to win an arguement (or worse), and even when I didn't give a damn about the content, it still doesn't feel too pleasant. No matter what the reasons are or how justified they are or how true the information is, I just don't appreciate being used in order to slag off someone else.

I'm not using anyone, I didn't name you, nothing I said conclusively marked you out + so it remained your choice whether to get involved. As for talking to you in less public places, you have my email so you could have used it when you first became aware of this..?

And ultimately, whose responsibility is it if a person tells someone else on the internet something which they'd be embarrassed if it got out? I mean, come on. Get real. Stop trying to make this out as in any way your fault. This isn't even the first time something like this has happened.

As for the story itself, the broad outline sufficed / the outcome, the details aren't relevant.

It's not about 'winning an argument' per se, it's a reaction to seeing someone lie about why they feel it necessary all of a sudden to patronise KS and their fans continually on the band's official forum.

I don't know how the PM system works on this forum and I was unaware I have messages. I check my email associated with my MSN account multiple times daily.

Oh yeah and to be honest, what I actually said (the 'controversial revelation') had fuck all detail in it, certainly nothing anything anyone could lose a friendship over. It was at most a 'I know what you're up to'.

The reason you got a PM last night is because, as I said, I was jsut back from looking at flats and generally running around and it was soemthing like midnight and I had to wake up at 6:30, it was the most comfortable thing to do at the time. I'm sorry but at the time the visibility or not of the PM system in here was the last thing on my mind... You'd also notice I waited 21 hours between the PM and posting, and only posted when you didn't drop the subject.

The rest is not for this forum and I'll discuss it with you privately, if you're interested. Don't worry, I don't bite...

You in turn will note that I stated that was in no position to comment on your theory - I know nothing of this situation. You could be right, you could be wrong, but such trifles are of no matter to me. Kula Shaker are my favourite band, not my favourite soap opera. Pitry has stated my issues with your actions here, at any rate, and they are all the worse for dragging her into it - you don't need to mention names to involve someone. Perhaps you were not told these things in confidence per se, but you are old and wise enough to know when things should not be posted on a forum, even in the loosest of terms.

Anyway, I don't share your rage at Sarah - frankly, she's allowed to go off Kula Shaker if she wants to, and her motives whatever they may be, are her own. It has no bearing on how I feel about the music, and if the slightest bit of negativity towards Kula Shaker has people in a frenzy, then they have a lot of growing up to do.
