I'm just happy they're back and looking forward to lots of bluesy guitar based rock. You should try being a fan of the Mediaeval Baebes if you miss Jay - they come and go like nothing else. It's a merry-go-round of changing faces, what with maternity leave, other bands and day jobs! So really compared to that Jay not being around barely registers. By the way, for new non-refujeevas peeps Alonza is married to a Mediaeval Baebe and I love them and do tend to go on a bit about them!

It's not that I'm not pleased, I'm very pleased. As long as they don't fuck us around again like The Jeevas did.

If the manics can continue without Richy, then Kula can do fine as a three piece. Plus the organ was always out of place in many tracks... more freedom.

well,i was actually going to put a photo up of kula shaker on my myspace page...er...and i used Paint to cut Jay out of it!

Jay was great, but if he doesnt come back, then its ok.
I think they will find a replacement especially for touring. You cant play sound of drums without the swirling organs!

Do we know yet if whether they are going to replace him or not? To be honest, I hope they dont. Jay is irreplacable (did I spell that right?).

I think its much cooler to continue as a three peice than drafting somone new in. They'll be amazing...im sure.

Strange...both bands I like had members who pissed off and joined Oasis. Mark Feltham from NBZ left when I joined em (PR) so I spose him and Jay must have played together. Marks harmonica tho' he's the one playing on Will Youngs last single, Texas stuff n loads more.
