The chap is Marcus Maclaine, a former boyfriend of Hayley Mills' - Crispian, Alonza, and Paul used to be in a band called Objects of Desire with him (plus another couple of blokes). As far as anyone knows, the three Kula lads didn't get to contribute creatively in the way that they would have liked, so they left. I daresay Crispian did instigate the rebellion, but who can blame him when a) you consider what they went on to, and b) when you see what Maclaine was willing to do to drag his name through the mud...lame. So yes, the article is him bitching about that - oh, and blaming Crispian for the demise of his relationship with Hayley. As to that, I don't know how true it is, but you have to wonder at the sort of man who'd go crying about it to Now magazine...

I'm not bidding on an out of date Now magazine because I'm both too cool and too mean!! Plus don't push the price up folks it's not worth it-still I can't wait to read the article once it's posted here (thanks). I'm interested to see what this guy looks like.

On another note.. who takes old mags from the dentist's waiting room and flogs them on e-bay? Now that is a weird hobby!

I've been interested in that mag since I found it on the eBay, but I couldn't bid on it cos I don't live in the UK (the seller says he/she ship it only to the UK). So it'd be great if you post it here!

Interestingly, the caption of this photo ( taken from here http://www.seedship.com/hayley/gallery/photo80.html ) says 1986, and I found another source from 91/92 saying that Hayley had been with Marcus for five years at that point so.. they were together an awful long time. He's also he brother of Maxwell Caulfield the actor, apparently. I know, I know, too much time on my hands.
