Hi all,

Just a note to say that kulashaker.net has become kula-shaker.net, yes, from now on please access the site by using the following address

http://www.kula-shaker.net

(depending on where you are in the world, it may take a few hours yet for the domain to propogate, or whatever the phrase is. In other words, this link may not start working until a few hours after the time of this post).

Why the change of domain? Well, usual story, the domain was not re-registered. I have to take ultimate responsibility but what happened was (excuse coming up) I lost a wallet so cancelled my card, old card details were on file with the webhost, filled in a re-registration form with the host for kulashaker.net, it all went through, payment bounced, I didn't get notification, first I knew of losing the domain was when some squatter (immediately upon expiration of the domain) snapped it up.

Anyway; this'll do.

Actually I have made a few updates to the site, the discography is fully up to date with the Out On The Highway single and Strangefolk North American release details, there's an official downloads section there too

And I also updated the tourdates so they're complete 2005-2009

In terms of bootlegs well it's all died so maybe I'll upload one or two in time (only those most people will know) still, come the new album etc let's hope the site gets some use as it did before.

PS anny if you want to make any changes to the site or do anything with it, please edit the existing files and don't use backups you may have, because I've changed a lot of things (e.g. rollovers in the discography menu)!

What's happened to those documentaries? They were just links to Youtube I think. Cowboys and Indians, Faith and Music? I've seen them a few times but still always interesting to watch again. If they were removed by Youtube, then you could get around it by giving them unrelated titles and don't mention anything to do with KS or the doc in the description. Thanks

Faith And Music and Cowboys & Indians (extended version) are both still on Youtube and Google video, respectively. Links on the site still work.

The Same But Different is removed, yes. We'll have to ask drykid about that one.

I'll upload The Same But Different to Google video if you want. Not putting it on youtube cos it's not worth the risk these days.

That's great that the site is back up. I looked for it a few months ago because i remember there was the milton keynes bootleg on there. That was such a special night. Do you think if you have the time you may upload that one?

Thanks for all your effort

Yeah I am going to keep it going because I think Kula will tour and put another record out next year, so just like before it'll be a place to put bootleg material (my own recordings and any others that people don't mind being featured on there, like before), an online home for the Strangefolk fanzine, if it continues, etc. I think some people liked it in the past so...

In terms of adding anything yourself anny the only thing is if you could fix the logo I guess, put a hyphen in there... whatever else you want to do to it feel free, if nothing needs changing or doing well, that's fine, because your existing design there looks splendid Smiler

About uploading bootlegs atm, I will see what I have left on my hard drives, sadly I did suffer a bad hd crash at one point and lost quite a bit of material!!
