Wow, they just seem to be getting better and better!

Crispian was wearing what basically looked like a short dress, tight jeans and red boots up to his knees, which was funny when singing "you treat me like a woman when I feel like a man!"

They also played Sound of Drums for the first song of the encore, which was unexpected and brilliant, Tattva seemed better than normal, really enjoyed that. But for me, the highlight was Great Hossanah again, Song of Love was great (I seemed to be the only one cheering when it started...) but Hosannah was awesome!

I also spoke to Pauli before the gig and requested Temple of Everlasting Light, but he said they have stopped it now, but he'll see what he can do! (no Joy though)

And I must be going to too many Kula gigs, as both Joff Winter-hart, his Dad, Don Pecker and Jo Mills recognised me and said hello...

Spot on Mike.

Tattva and Song of Love were so good. It all gets better everytime.

Bonus was my girlfriend not breaking anything this time (ref to Thekla).

Now for a cup of tea in my new mug. Enjoy Bristol.

Name dropper! Smiler

Hopefully get to meet you tonight then if you're there. I will be wearing my now almost ten year old Revolution For Fun t-shirt - should be easy to spot as I can't see there being many of them there tonight!

There was a chap in front of me with Revolution for Fun shirt, blonde spikey hair with glasses. Was that you? I was in a Revenge of the King shirt.

And yes, couldn't help dropping a few names...but can you blame me??

Good to hear there are still some other RFF tees still going. Wasn't there last night, but I did spot you at the Thekla gig last year, so will watch for you in Bristol - will hopefully be down the front.

Gig was amazing last night! The guys were on top form throughout. Brilliant setlist and as antimaterial said Great Hosannah was probably the highlight for me. Other highlights were mystical machine gun, second sight and 303.

Met Paul in the bar before the gig and he was a really top guy, but that's no surprise really.

Dr Joel was hilarious but unfortunately the rest of the band didn't join him due to some kind of technical difficulties according to Paul. But i guess it didnt matter too much as we got a longer set from the KS.

All in all a top night and the crowd were great, seemed to really love every moment.

Yeah, I told all my friends about the band coming on in disguise, then it didn't happen! Ah well, we got Hurricane Season instead!

I looked out for you Dance, in fact I even asked one guy if he was you (he wasn't, and I looked like a wierdo!)

Oh sorry mate, I wore my Kula t-shirt in the end (grey strangefolk one). I was stood about 2 rows back towards the right as you look at the stage. Whereabouts were you stood? Next time we'll have to get organised and meet up beforehand for a pint!

Loved the gig, small and sweaty, music was fantastic - my faves were Great Hosannah, Second sight, Out on the Highway, Mistical Machine Gun, Tatva - oh everything really! I love Hurricane Season, shame the crowd surfer was a distraction thru it tho. - Crispian looked like he had part in Blake's Seven!

nice review / pics; I was surprised to see the pic of the tealady (don't remember it being discussed previously.) But then I just read Harry's latest blog, and it seems like they may have had Health & Safety issues with it on some dates on the tour. So maybe it's been the exception rather than the norm.
