It's kind of ironic that to enter that competition you have to register for the efestivals forum. Ironic because once you've registered and gone to the Guilfest section, you find it's full of posts about how terribly organised the festival is (toilets, security etc) and people who went last year but are refusing to ever go again.

I was seriously thinking of going this year (mainly for KS), but I'm having major doubts now.

I'll put up with a lot if it's free... Wink ...sorry to hear that Andrea, but if anyone from the UK wins and has a spare to give away, we should say in this thread.

Does anybody need a ticket for the Saturday of this festival? I can no longer go to this and need to sell my ticket (face value). Any takers?

I'm coming from Glasgow by myself. Was hoping a pal in Kent would go, but she says it's "too expensive". I laughed...

It's cheap as far as festivals go, but the lineup is always on the paltry side (this year being no exception), and as drykid remarked earlier in the thread, the facilities are rather shoddy. To be honest, unless your mate is a massive fan of any of the artists on the bill, it is too expensive! I appreciate that it will invariably be more expensive for you than someone from Kent, but it doesn't seem like an unfair comment, to be honest.

Welcome to the board, at any rate... Smiler

I decided to see Damon, it's a shame it's on the same night. He's only playing some stuff from 'Mali Music' I hear now, but eh. If Kula'll let me hang with 'em after the show, I'll consider Guilfest a better offer.!

I went that same year with James. Pulp played too, and Cast. Only shame was Catatonia cancelling. But twas a good weekend. Real shame I have another demand on the kula day this year, Damon's third (and probably final) public show of the year in the UK on the same day, unlucky.

Setlist from Guilfest yesterday:

Hey Dude
Out On The Highway
Second Sight
Jerry Was There
303
Mystical Machine Gun
Unknown1
Tattva
Unknown2
Song Of Love/Narayana
Hush
Govinda

Unknown song 1 had the line "Oh my love your song is such a pretty song" or something like that.

Unknown song 2 I remember being quite short and I cant remember much of it at all.

I am familiar with K, PPA and SF so, I am stumped at these two songs.
