Hello everyone,

Im not a regular poster on here... but I need to express my love and interest for the unreleased (and extremely beautiful) track Craving Heart.

Does anyone know if this is a Kula Shaker original, or a cover they did of someone elses track? I sincerely hope its the former, as I want it so badly to be released on the next album.

The track moves me to tears every time i listen to it. It deserves to be professionally recorded and shared with the world!

Love, Peace and Nutty Guitar Riffs

Peter Bruce

I doubt if anyone's going to be able to give you a definitive answer (except maybe Crispian himself.) I've always assumed it's an original in the absence of anything to the contrary. Mind you I assumed "True Love Will Find You in the End" was an original for ages until I actually bothered to look.

I can't discount the possibility that it's a cover of an obscure track by someone else, but there's something Crispian-esque about both words and melody imho.

I thought the same about the Jeevas track 'Ghost' when that was just a live bootleg. I guess he has a knack for making a song his own.

I've never heard of Craving Heart before KS did it so it could well be an original. But saying that, I'd never heard of Ghost before the jeevas covered it. Only time will tell - hopefully

EDIT: or maybe 2j could ask about that one if this interview ever takes place.

Hello everyone, and thankyou.

The track does sound very crispian-esque... but also has a nicely 'held-back' feel to it... keeps it simple and powerful. No over the top solos or head shaking drum rhythms. Perfect in my opinion.

Maybe this can be part of the interview... but by the time we get to see that, we may have a track list and clips on the way... who knows?

Looking forward to learning what happens.
