The French fans aren't gonna be pleased either.

I can hardly believe Kula couldn't do decent business at a small club date in Paris, say. But then again maybe that's why I'm not a French tour promoter.

Maybe they will head to North America after the euro dates.

Now admittedly we did all think (well I did) that their North American trip (mentioned by the guys as happening - let's hope it's still on) would coincide with the record release over there, scheduled for february. But it's still not impossible that they will head to the US after these euro dates.

I guess they're not rushing for a North American gig to coincide with the release of the album because, probably much like everywhere else in the world (maybe other than Japan), the possibility of contributing more than marginally to the album's sales is highly unlikely.
Also, since they're in no rush to enter the charts (and realisticaly speaking, their chances of making it to the American charts is less than the one they had in the UK), they can probably wait for whatever woudl feel like a better time for them...

Mmm.

I hope a better time for them will be soon! Smiler I doubt the release will create a big splash, so I can see why they wouldn't mind if they were a few weeks after the release. Sébast and I did see an imported copy of Strangefolk at HMV the other day though, so at least they've bothered to get the import. Anyway, all this gives me one more reason to annoy Sébast to get his passport in order in case we need to go to the US to see them! :P

I'll definitely be going to the Brussels one; don't know about the others. I don't even know what country some of those are in, I'm ashamed to say... like you say it's a shame there's no Northern German one otherwise I could've gone with the same company as last time.

Yeah, it’s a shame that they don’t play another Hamburg date... but Groningen is not that far away either. So for me probably Groningen and Haldern (that’s somewhere close to Cologne)
