This was not an easy poll, because I like all of these songs. I would have voted for Guitar Man had it been there. I was about to vote for Revenge of the King because every time I play it it sounds like my speakers are busted, but I think if it had been recorded properly it would have been a great song. I eventually voted for Wannabe Famous, simply because I couldn't bring myself to vote for any of the other songs.

hmm, tough choice. I was going to go for one of the dispensible b-sides like Dancing Flea but then after much thought, I realized Dictator is one of the few songs I truly dislike and just wish it wasn't on the album! It was already a strange song on the EP. Instead of preserving the few good qualities of the Garage version, they just made it even worse! AND it takes up a track on the album when we could've had Craving Heart or Be Merciful!

Let me just say that I dont dislike all the songs I've listed. I love Great Dictator, much more than the garage EP version, but I put it there for some of you who don't like it! And I love Govinda and Tattva, but I get the feeling some people get a bit bored of the big singles!

Yes, I prefer Be Merciful to Great Dictator. Cleaver, but I tend to skip over it on my MP3

I like this poll coz, once again, there are very diverse opinions and some actually suprise me. Like "Shower Your Love" for example... I always thought that I was the only one who isn't that keen on that song. On the other hand, it makes complete sense to me to see that "Dictator" is in the lead (if you can put it like that Big Grin).

I actually quite like Great Dictator... Red Face ...but then again, I also had a soft spot for How Much Do You Suck? (album version). I just quite like it when they indulge in some fairly silly political satire...call it musical Spitting Image...although, that was quite on the money in some cases...at least, little me thought it was. Ah, memories of grey ol' John Major.

Aklthough I have to admit it was a better silly political satire with the original version of the lyrics Smiler

I still refuse to understand how can so many people not see the genius that is The Dancing Flea!

Well I'm calling the end of the voting period...and the winner (loser) is Great Dictator (booo I say, horay most of you say!)

Followed in joint second with The Dancing Flea and Big Bad Wolf!

Hmmm..... Radhe Radhe always reminds me of an unfortunate childhood incident when I got trapped amongst a bell shaking, drumming Hare Krisna parade in Oxford street and got separated from my mum. Then they gave me a free book, that suddenly then required a non optional 'donation' and the guy got really scary.... "but, you said it was a free book!" (shudders) For some reason when I hear Radhe Radhe I want to run into Top Shop for cover....

my unfortunate childhood events tended to involve electricity

when i was four, i took a set of keys my grandparents had given me, stood on a chair, and wedged into a lightswitch. then, i fliped the switch on.

it was all i ever could have hoped for. the entire room went black, and a jet of blue sparks spouted from the keys.

then suddenly, my parents were screaming at me. the keys mysteriously disappeared while i slept, that night. i'd slept with them because i was a wily lad, and suspected they'd go away soon.

actually, that event really wasn't so unfortunate from me, aside from the loss of the shiny jangly keys.

next time, i'll tell of how i gave myself a good dose of mains voltage rewiring a power supply when i was ten. i thought i knew what i was doing, but i was somewhat wrong.

I voted for Golden Avatar. Never been too keen on it.

Not keen on Revenge of the King either but as it marked the glorious return of KS I couldn't vote for it.

I actually like great dictator, it's good fun and ever so slightly psychedelic! Smiler
