First of all 'American' isn't a race, so don't talk shit about racism. Secondly, I love America, most aspects of the culture, most of the people I've met there (I've spent a few months total travelling round and visited 25 states) and I hope to go back again. And I have many friends from the US and relatives who are US citizens. I simply said American referring to you here because it's relevant that - and this isn't the first time - we have had on here, the only people to criticise 'Dictator' whiny Americans (at least one of whom was a confessed Republican / Bush supporter) because it seems that nobody else can take offence at this song, or object to it, only American Republicans.

The whole premise of your argument against the song is anyway completely ridiculous. As if any song about injustice has to mention every injustice (even if we suppose that all those you listed are perpetrators of injustice). Of course it's acceptable that songs / works of art can focus on certain injustices and ignore others. A song criticising, e.g. Kim Jong-il, wouldn't HAVE to criticise Castro as well to be legitimate.

I admit I have been increasingly fatigued with your twatishness on here, but my criticisms of what you posted stand or fall independently of that.

Finally, you admitted you don't know anything about Gorillaz at all and have never even listened to one of their albums all the way through, so your criticism of them based on no acquaintance with their work is hardly something I'm about to take seriously.

If you are referring to 'The Dictator' then first of all you're posting it on the wrong forum, retard, secondly Kula have a song 'Dictator Of The Free World' so it's natural to assume you meant that (this is the Kula side of the forum), third I believe you're backpedalling cos how would The Clash have referred to Chavez and Putin??? KS aren't making a concept album about every dictator in existence, at least they'd better bloody well not be. As the US arguably rule the world, a track called 'Dictator of the Free World' seems likely to refer to the US. I agree that that much should have been obvious.
