Perhapa this has been discussed before, but I'm wondering if any of you jolly nice eggs know anythink about a certain screenplay by a Cripian Mills called 'The Winged Boy'?

Is this currently being made as we type on our organ grinders?

The screenplay was written by Crispian and Michael Geary, but it is currently being rewritten...at least, that was its status last I heard!

Ooh interesting. I never heard of this until yesterday. But then I didn't even know Crispian Mills was son of Haley. For some bizarre reason I just bought the Kula albums and never really read anything about the band until the last few days when I found them on MySpace. Hahaha

From what I can see it looks like it's in advanced development. It's got people attached such as a director and several producers and what looks like distribution (which is good) and is listed in IMDB pro as 'In Development', which means they're still finalising the script and they are possibly trying to attach some actors and possibly sorting out finance. When the IMDb changes to pre-production is the time to get excited as that means it's an almost definite go and shooting will be iminent (unless they don't keep their imdb pro listing updated and they are already in pre-pro). The film industry is very complex and secretive! Also it can take years to get a film into production as there are so many variables and it's best to get things all perfect before they start shooting. From googling though it looks like they have distribution and that is quite hard to get, so it's looking good from the outside.
