Yeah, it not posting a big sign that it was unrelated to Crispian, the owner of that space has been misleading a lot of people (witness most of the comments on the space).

It's standard practice (and courtesy) on Myspace, to point out the status of musician profiles. This is partly because there are in fact musicians on there who, to a greater or lesser extent, run their own official profiles. Certainly some with as many fans as Crispian do their own pretty much single-handedly.

It's Sarah (you not au fait with reading still? ) and whilst I odn't have a myspcace myself, I do use them, gain info from them and so have a familiarity with the function of the site. I know some bands who run their own site, and kudos for them for doing it. My point is that anyone who knows the slightest thing about Crispian wouldn't suspect even for a moment that he would ever bother with it. I mean look what happened when he wanted people to get involved with the Pi project. Sweet FA. So learn from experience, use some of the cynicism Kula fans are so used to and don't be so naive. Anyway we've had this discussion before and the people who run both the KS and Crispian sites have been very honest about the fact that they are not 'official'. Though the KS myspace is pretty much official now.

I'm not saying people should be allowed to deceive others and probably there should be something put up that says it is fan-run rather than band-run, but really, you have to be pretty daft to think Crispian Mills would run a Myspace. I mean, Crispian? Paul/Harry, maybe - Crispian/Alonza, no way.

Possibly - but stranger things have happened. And what's more, many fans don't know enough about Crispian to even make that inference. Maybe they just really, really dig K, and that's the extent of it.

I already stated my intention to recognise you as Lexie forever, so I don't know why you're surprised now...

I wasn't being naive at all. I'm a huge Weller fan and Steve White (his drummer) has a myspace and it is genuinely him, there are a few others too. Obviously there ones where it is obvious it isn't the real artist because the person running said myspace always states this.
I'm pissed that I asked Caroline if it was really him and she SAID YES IT WAS. That's the bit that I find annoying.

Well, that's really not on of Caroline, sounds like she was wrong there. My point isn't that it's naive to think a band would run their myspace - my favourite band runs its myspace too. It's naive to think Crispian would run his myspace. I see where you're coming from though, especially if you were told directly it was him. That's not fair. Susheel's always quite clear that the Kula Shaker one isn't the band and that's the way Caroline should be too.

Ah, but we have the healthy cynicism of Crispian Time. We know the score, we are well aware nothing will happen for long periods of time. Well most of us are. Some mad people on here thought that just because a update telling of a new video message was posted that a video message would appear soon . They have learned their folly though, and I'm sure are happier little bunnies for it
