Bonjour
Im at a loss about why kula shaker put a masonic square and compass on the back of the hush cd. Surely they dont go for that bologny. World domination, new world order, killing off of 80% pops, microchipped population, single world bank, one world currency & all that jazz. Its a confusing message to have on your artwork. |

Well I'm pretty ignorant about the different symbols and their specific origins, but a lot of Masonic imagery actually comes from the Knights Templars originally? So maybe the KS use is in reference to the source rather than some of its later co-opting by Freemasons and the like?
Just speculating though; I really don't know one way or the other. "I have waited to be here Now I feel you, feel you near Take me home" |

Mind you, they did love conspiracy theories back in 96/97....

There is also an 'all seeing eye' on the cover inside the tools.I think this is masonic but I could be wrong I suppose. The eye in masonry is symbolic of the worship of Amenra I think. It also has reference to being an 'illumined one.' Just like the way they use the owl, its all over the place. There's a 40ft owl at Bohemian grove. I dont know enough about the Templars to rule it out but you could be right I guess.
Kula shaker into the Knights Templar? Or it could go with the title of the song 'HUSH.' Trying to expose a secret maybe? |

Yeah, and the Hush artwork was finalised before Nazigate, when they probably become more aware and reticent about such things. __________________________________________________________________ I'm an A1 major-league sociopath http://www.kula-shaker.net http://www.crispianmills.com |
