Spring is sprung, and work has begun...

Work on the 4th Kula Shaker album is indeed well underway. Back from a whirlwind reconnaissance trip to the East the band are refreshed, regenerated and recording. The Belgian countryside is reeling from the exotic sounds emanating from the newly built studio complex chez Alonza, with reports that the surrounding flowers have started growing at an alarming rate and local beasts of all descriptions are flocking to the house like bees to honey.

In between takes Crispian and Harry have been reviewing a box set of Russian Sherlock Holmes movies "Elementee, dear Vatson!@" Paul is trying to get lost in the woods and Alonza is making, drinking or just enquiring about making tea. That boy has a serious problem.

Information is hard to come by as the flora and fauna are controlling communications to the outside world, but word is that we can expect some extraordinary noises. Old-school motown grooves, sprawling Hippy jams, some rather worrying gothic excess and at least one eye-melting cliff-top guitar solo. A pair of badgers have reported a secret night-time recording trip to the nearby cathedral, whilst a rather rowdy flock of geese witnessed more than one delivery of vintage 'boutique' guitar pedals. Rumours of a gospel choir have been crushed however, by a particularly useful network of mice. The piano tuner has vowed never to return.

Timing is Everything, and Everything is a whole lot of really important shit. We promise to send emails to you for more updates, sneak previews and, when hell freezes over, maybe even a performance or two.
