Recording has begun on Kula Shaker's 4th album! The working title 'Pilgrim's Progress' may indicate sojourns into the world of prog rock, although a band spokesperson claims that this is not the case, and that any rumours of this nature have almost certainly been fabricated by none other than Pauli W.H, band drummer and resident pot stirrer.

The chaps have been in Oxford, reuniting with Sam Williams (who mixed & recorded many tracks on Strangefolk), to begin the next chapter and possibly finest chapter in their strange tale. Work is likely to continue for the months to come.

Word on the 'streets' of Jericho, Oxford are that it's going to be one mother of a record, and that they do have a deadline... though we’re not sure exactly when that may be.

Great news... From the photos, looks like there's going to be a lot of different instruments and guest musicians used on this one...

Though it looks like Alonza is playing an eight string ukelele, rather than a mandolin in the pics - if so, send him to the nearest lamp-post!! Wink

Woohoo Big Grin

I am the smile that was secretly offered
No hesitation for your delight
Before hurt, before love was questioned
And we believed in love at first sight

I used to live nr Jericho? I didn't know there was a recording studio in that bit of town. Does anyone know where it is and what it's called? I've got friends who might like to use it.

YEEEEEESSSSS!
Plus we've been given three titles of tracks.
I think some of you have heard 'Witches & Wine' and 'All Dressed Up and Ready' live.
Has anyone heard 'Light Years Ahead of Your Time?'
