Hey! Don’t you lot go wearing them out! No requests for additional songs. They need to be rested and on peak form for the following night in Notts.

And a little tip for whoever attends. Apparently, when “MORE” is shouted at the end of a gig, it actually sounds like “BORE” from the artists’ position on stage. So to be absolutely sure you don’t offend Kula Shaker, it might be a good idea not to shout it on this 1 occasion. Of course, selfishness is never my motivation.

Sadly, I won't make this one. Leaving London a day before the gig. Until next time...

I'm going to eBay it like a pro, or buy one from a tout just as the band take the stage - they tend to panic and sell cheaply! Your attendance is one of the main motivating factors for this, it has been many years and it would be awesome to meet you! Big Grin

Well, that was an enjoyable evening Smiler I can't say I'm that enthused about the venue. I'm sure it was a great place to see strippers, but for live music it leaves something to be desired. But KS were on form, and the set list was very mouth-watering.

I think from memory we got:

- Out on the Highway
- Jerry Was There
- Die For Love
- Great Hosannah (!)
- Troubadour (!!)
- Into The Deep
- Govinda
- Be Merciful
- Hush

So that was a lot better value for money than I was expecting. I just hope when they put it online they don't miss out the more interesting choices.

Yeah, Great Hosannah was thanks to my friend shouting it out and Crispian randomly deciding to go for it. Poor Harry though, didn't know the song and just kept looking bemused and laughing with Alonza. Crispian was on form last night as a frontman, lots of joking around and very smiley - the whole band were. Really cool setlist though, I hope it's indicative of what's to come later on. And the whole thing is being put online so everyone can see it.

Well they said that about the itunes gig too, and nothing's shown up yet. I do expect some tracks to go online, but I'd be surprised if the whole gig goes up. There's only three tracks up from Athlete (headliners at the last Tiscali showcase), and I'm sure they must've played more than that. (Even the support bands played more tracks than that last night.) But I hope I'm wrong.

Here's a rubbish video of Troubadour from last night:

I'm only linking to it to show that they really did play it; it's extremely crap both in terms of video and audio.
