No problem!

Anyone know what the song is with the groovy-sounding 12-string intro that they accidentally play the start of in place of the Screaming Jay Hawkins track? I got the impression that even though it wasn't meant to be played on this show, it was still something either Crispian or Alonza had hand-picked for their own personal compilation.

Love Lee Hazlewood, can't wait ot listen to this when I get back to London tomorrow night - land of broadband, currently enjoying the delights of 'oop north'. Sounds like it was good.

Finally got to listen to this today and was not altogether suprised to hear them play a track from the band Silver Apples.
A while back I asked if the Jeevas track of the same name was inspired by this band.
I am now inclined to think it is.
Just thought I'd share this little bit of totally useless trivia.

Ahh thanks for the info. I've heard about SF Sorrow enough times (I bought the Record Collector guide to British psychedelia a while back and there was a big article about it.) But it's something I've never got round to listening to. But I really liked that quick accidental burst of it in the XFM show, so I really should go buy it.

Did any of you very very fine people happen to record all/any more of the Remix show at all?? I am looking for the bit shortly before with little indie band DELAYS? If you do, then lots of virtual hugs/beer/chocolate bars will be pointed in your direction from this humble lurker. Smiler

Ta muchly!

Sorry; I did hear that bit, but as I was listening live I only hit record at the point I knew KS were about to come on, so I don't have anything else saved. I would gladly have recorded / uploaded it if I'd known someone wanted it!

Ah no worries. It was a long shot anyway. A technical hitch with the person who was recording it...I wasn't overly worried as I thought it would be on the 'listen again' feature, which it isn't. Gutted.

Thanks anyways!
