Kula are giving a one off club gig in Brighton on the 24th of September.

What with extensive recordings and relocations going on in the Kulaville, it's likely that this will be last gig for a while.

Hope you can make it down to the beach- tickets go onsale tomorrow (Friday 5th September) at 10am here.

Grrr the timing on this one isn't good for me; I'm seeing The Divine Comedy in Paris on the 22nd and 23rd. I'll be back in the UK in time to get to this, but it'll be very tight indeed time wise.

Hope I can manage it though; as this is the first small scale gig for months I'd hope that they'd air some new songs at it.

Yup, same here: bad time, even worse location. But I hope you'll make it though.

Heh I had to google that, but I found a page about a cartoon character called Doraemon which seems to explain it. Yeah, one of those would be useful Smiler

Yeah, I did see it - it's the first time I've ever been pleased to find out that a gig by one of my favourite bands has been cancelled. Because getting to that one on the 24th would've been a nighmare; if I had gone I'd have made it by minutes and no more. But now I'm confident that there will be another gig around that date that I'll be in a better position to attend.

What's the official word on this?

I bought tickets through the website last week and didn't see they've canceled the gig until afterwards.

I replied to the email asking for confirmation but no response so far.

I was billed for the tickets today

HELP!!

It's definetly cancelled. I'm sure you'll get a refund back from Ticketweb if you keep at em'.

Cheers,

I phoned ticketweb this afternooon, they are waiting on confirmation from the promoter before they pull the plug - but they do know about it.

Once all the boxes are ticked they can issue a refund.

They said they'd be in contact with me once this is in place.

I'm a little disspointed - I need Kula fix!!!!
